Fiordland Penguin (Eudyptes pachyrhynchus)

The Fiordland Penguin inhabits the rainforests and fjords of New Zealand's South Island. It features a distinctive yellow stripe above its eyes and prefers remote coastal areas for nesting. This shy species spends much of its time at sea, hunting fish and squid.
