The Strait of Magellan, a historic waterway at the southernmost tip of South America, leads directly into the mystical region of Tierra del Fuego – often referred to as the "End of the World." Named after explorer Ferdinand Magellan, this passage provides a unique connection between the oceans and was once a vital route for ships traveling between the Atlantic and Pacific. A journey through the Strait of Magellan is an adventure through untouched wilderness, past rugged coasts, glaciers, and fascinating wildlife, including penguins and sea lions. This NFT features a stunning image of this iconic waterway, celebrating the wild beauty and historical significance of this extraordinary region.

Via the Strait of Magellan and then left to the end of the world - this is how you get to Tierra del Fuego, the land of fire, as the southernmost and somewhat mystical tip of land in South America is called. We took the photo in Ushuaia around 11:00 p.m., trying to capture the unique lighting atmosphere of this place, this moment.

And when you look at the picture, you understand that Magellan probably didn't just name this part of the world because of the wood fires of the inhabitants along the coast at that time.
