We had arrived to take part in the Mont Blanc Marathon and had moved into quarters in D'Argentiere. This small town is located up the valley from the main town of Chamonix on the Mont-Blanc massif and is very quiet at night. From here you can start various hikes to the Mont Blanc massif or to the other side of the valley. There are plenty of photo opportunities and the changeable weather and light conditions always offer new appearances of the same mountain formations. In the images shown, we have included HDR images and images using infrared technology, which, with their high contrasts, contribute to impressive representations of the Mont Blanc massif.
Photos of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc and the Glacier des Bossons round off this post.
