Long Exposure

Long exposure is a photographic technique where the camera's shutter remains open for an extended period. This creates stunning effects like light trails, silky water, or dramatic night shots. A tripod is essential for achieving sharp results.

Long exposures on the Bay of Biscay

On the Bay of Biscay in the Basque Country there are beautiful beaches but also wild coastal landscapes. On the Barrikaka beach near Barrika, the waves break on the various rock formations and, if the weather is suitable, the roaring spray can be photographically transformed into a fine mist.
