The colorful houses of Mosjøen on the Vefsn River are particularly beautiful to see as the sun sets behind the Øyfjellet mountain to the west.

The world's strongest tidal current is near the Norwegian city of Bodø. It impresses with its large whirlpools, which produce water masses reaching speeds of almost 40 km/h.

Recordings in Tortosa during the blue hour are worthwhile. Then the castle de la Suda, the cathedral and the market hall are reflected in the silvery shining river Ebro.

The Red Torii of Itsukushima Shrine in front of Miyajima Island in Hiroshima Prefecture is world famous. You can walk out to it at low tide, and ships pass through the torii at high tide to reach the Shinto monastery of Itsukushima Shrine.

Long exposures of some special parts of a stream in the mountains and valleys of Andorra

On the Bay of Biscay in the Basque Country there are beautiful beaches but also wild coastal landscapes. On the Barrikaka beach near Barrika, the waves break on the various rock formations and, if the weather is suitable, the roaring spray can be photographically transformed into a fine mist.

Blue hour over the cathedral island on the Oder in Wroclaw - on the right you can see the two towers of the cathedral.

Photographing the northern lights at Christmas time is a wonderful project. However, good photo-technical preparation is necessary.
